Tia Norrington: I am a recent graduate of North Carolina A&T State university, print journalism major. I look forward to following my career goals and aspirations as a journalist. The motto that I live by is "Where there is a will there is a way" and it has been proven true time and time again. I firmly believe that if you have the will for something to get done and work hard there is nothing in the world you cannot do. The last semester of my school academic school year I had to trust in this motto to get through the challenge of having 18 credits, working on campus, and managing the tasks at my internship with Diversity Woman Magazine. I learned with this internship the importance of accuracy all around from the development of stories, photos, sources, and places used all throughout the magazine. Also, that this industry may be tough at times however with determination it can be rewarding.
